Another Candidate Interviews For Eagles Head Coach Spot

PHILADELPHIA -

A new name has surfaced in the growing list of candidates for the Eagles head coaching position.

FOX 29's Howard Eskin reports former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt was interviewed in Philadelphia Monday.

Whisenhunt was interviewed for other head coach positions, but now he may be one of the best options available.

Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden was also interviewed Monday by the Eagles, Eskin reports.

Thus far, the Eagles have interviewed the following coaches:

Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien

Oregon head coach Chip Kelly

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly

Eskin reports all received seven figure yearly raises from their schools.

    It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

    The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

    By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
