SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Every year, The Center for Science in the Public Interest puts out its "Xtreme Eating" list of the unhealthiest restaurant menu items in the country.

Tops this year is the Bistro Shrimp Pasta from the Cheesecake Factory.  The dish, made with butter and cream sauce and topped with battered, fried shrimp, weighs in at a whopping 3,100 calories.  It also contains 89 grams of saturated fat and nearly 1,100 milligrams of sodium.

Also making the list is IHOP's Country Fried Steak and Eggs Combo at 1,760 calories, 3,700 milligrams of sodium and eleven teaspoons of added sugar.

And speaking of sugar, the "Xtreme Eating" dessert winner is the Chocolate Zuccotto Cake from Maggiano's Little Italy.  It's got about a day's worth of calories at 1,800 and four days' worth of added sugar at 26 teaspoons.

Healthcare reform legislation requiring chain restaurants to put calorie counts on their menus should finally go into effect this year.
