Boston students honor the legacy of Dr. King

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Students from Boston Public Schools joined together on Friday morning to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The International House of Blues Foundation hosted the Fourth Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration and Reading.

FOX 25's Maria Stephanos attended the event and read part of Dr. King's "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech.

Nearly 700 students and teachers also attended. Some of the students performed songs at the event.
