BOSTON (AP) - A United Airlines jetliner flying from Barcelona, Spain, to Newark, N.J., was diverted to Boston after developing problems with cabin pressure on Friday afternoon.
United spokeswoman Jennifer Dohm says the Boeing 757 landed safely and without incident at Logan International Airport. She says there were 113 passengers and seven crew members aboard United Flight 121.
The airline said it arranged an alternate aircraft to fly the passengers from Boston to Newark and will accommodate them to their final destinations.
A FOX 25 photographer at Logan says the plane was fixed by late Friday afternoon and had left the airport.
Pilots facing cabin pressure problems typically descend to safer altitude and can continue flying to a safer destination.
