WEARE, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A New Hampshire school bus driver was taken to the hospital after a crash that happened while she was driving children home from school.

Weare Police say the accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Friday on Route 114 in Weare.

Investigators say 31-year-old Aroostine Brown took a left onto Route 114 out of Lanctot's Plaza. They believe the 31-year-old turned into the path of the bus driven by 36-year-old Monique Nelson.

Nelson was transporting six children home from the Center Woods Elementary School at the time of the crash. A bus monitor and their 6-month old child were also on the bus.

All of the children were evaluated by ambulance crews. Nelson was transported to Catholic Medical Center for evaluation.

Parents were called to the scene of the crash to pick up their children after they were evaluated.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Weare Police at 603-529-7755.
