The 15-year-old girl was riding the Orange Line about 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 8 when a man stood behind her and began rubbing her buttocks, according to a release from police News Affairs.

The girl told the man stop to move away and he stopped, the release said. The girl got off the train at 35th and Archer and told police.

Officers tried to apprehend the man at the next train stop, but he fled, the release said.
