Brockton man charged for reportedly biting woman's face
BROCKTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 47-year-old Brockton man was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon early Sunday morning after he reportedly bit a woman's face and assaulted her.
John W. Pierce was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery for an incident which occurred on West Elm Street around 1:42 a.m.
Police told FOX 25 that Pierce became angry during an argument with a woman and bit her to the right of her mouth. He then threw the victim to the ground and starting banging her head against the floor.
The victim was taken to a local hospital; however, her condition is not known.
Police said that they expect to issue a warrant for Pierce's arrest.
