FRANKLIN, Mich. (WJBK) -- In quaint downtown Franklin, there's an old timey gas station.  At Franklin Auto Service, you can only get full-service.

"We come out and we'll pump your gas and check your tires and everything under the hood," says Eli.

"An era that time kind of forget," says Dan.

And when it's one degree outside, business doubles.

"On a day like today we get very busy.  A lot of people don't want to pump their own gas," Dan explains.

The price per gallon is ten cents higher.

"Staying in the warm car beats getting out," says a customer.

"Some people have said we should dress up like they did in 'Back to the Future', you know, the hats and the uniform and all that," says Ken.  "We don't want to."

"It's very nostalgic," another customer remarks.  "They've always been great here at this station.  I remember coming here when I was a kid and a teenager."
