Flyers Look To Snap The Streak Against Rangers

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

After losing the first three games of the shortened NHL season, the Philadelphia Flyers will attempt to snap their losing streak at home Thursday night against the New York Rangers.

Thursday night's meeting is the first of five against the Rangers.

As the Flyers look to avoid their first 0-4 start in franchise history, their lineup will be without both Brayden Schenn and Scott Hartnell. Schenn was given a one-game suspension on Wednesday, while Hartnell will be out indefinitely due to an injury to his left foot.

FOX 29's Howard Eskin reports Hartnell could be out for as long as a month.
