Application deadline to replace Sandi Jackson in 7th ward extended

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
There's still time to submit an application if you want to replace Sandi Jackson as 7th ward alderman. The deadline to file an application has been extended until 5 p.m. Monday.
Meantime, Mayor Emanuel has picked the members of the screening committee, who will review the applications and narrow down the field.
The members of the committee are Susan Motley, Reverend Marrion Johnson, Echelle Mohn, Michelle Harris and Felicia Davis.
Mayor Emanuel expects to have a new 7th ward alderman in place prior to the next City Council meeting.
