GRAFTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 52-year-old Grafton man was arrested early Sunday morning after authorities discovered rifles, shotguns, and large amounts of ammunition at the suspect's Follette Street home.
Steven Woskie is facing several charges, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic aggravated assault and battery, possession of an assault weapon, and three counts of possession of large capacity feeding devices.
Police responded to 77 Follette Street after Woskie's son called police to report that his father had attacked him first with a bat and then with a claw hammer. Additionally, police received information regarding unsecured and possibly stolen weapons at Woskie's address.
Police confirmed that Woskie did not have a license to possess weapons or ammunition and obtained a search warrant. A SWAT team entered Woskie's home at 2:22 a.m. Sunday and arrested the suspect without incident.
Among the items seized by authorities were a loaded shotgun near Woskie's bed, an AK-47, and an assault rifle with three 30-round magazines.
Woskie appeared at a hearing in Westboro District Court Monday and was ordered held on held on $25,000 cash bail.
Authorities are investigating and could bring more charges if the weapons are stolen.
