A 74-year-old woman died Tuesday night after she was struck by a car while crossing a Philadelphia road, police said.
The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. on the 12000 block of Knights Road.
Police say the car involved did stop and remained on scene.
The woman was rushed to Aria Health-Torresdale, where she was pronounced dead not long after the accident.
