(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Whitinsville man will be heading to court this week after allegedly stabbing a police officer with a spear.
It all started when 27-year-old Adam Tillison was first spotted speeding in a Jaguar by Milford police. Northbridge officers were called in to help and caught up with Tillison at his home. That's when he allegedly grabbed a double-bladed spear and stabbed an officer in the ribs.
The officer was treated and released for his injury.
Tillison faces several charges, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He will be in court on Tuesday for a dangerousness hearing.
