PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two teenagers are facing charges for reportedly possessing and dealing drugs - including heroin, ketamine, methamphetamine, bath salts, and marijuana - to Portsmouth High School students.
Following a month-long investigation, police in Portsmouth executed a search warrant at a Portsmouth apartment Monday night. A 15-year-old and 16-year-old, both of Portsmouth, were arrested. Both will face charges related to the possession and distribution of drugs.
Police said they seized methamphetamine, heroin, Ketamine, bath salts, hashish, marijuana, Adderall and other prescriptions medications from the apartment where the teens lived with the mother, who was not charged.
In addition to drugs, police said they found hypodermic needles, scales, hundreds of drug baggies and packaging material, cell phones, and laptops.
Knives and some unique weaponry were also found
The investigation continues into the extent of the distribution network. Police said information exists that some of the drugs were received from international locations, and a parallel investigation has begun into money laundering of the alleged profits.
The investigation is ongoing.
