BRADENTON (FOX 13) -
A woman who was already arrested for one crime was able to
tack on another while in custody.
Deputies say Katina Collins got agitated during the taking
of her mugshot and slapped a deputy in the face.
The slap broke the deputy's glasses and left a red mark on
her forehead and lip. Collins was charged with battery on a law
enforcement officer.
The incident happened inside the Manatee County Jail just
before 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
Deputies say Collins told them she "wasn't going to have her
picture taken anymore."
The deputy apparently explained she needed to have them taken
for her charges, and Collins allegedly slapped her.
