WATERVILLE, MAINE (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Family members of missing Maine toddler Ayla Reynolds claim police told the child's mother there is "unequivocal" evidence that she is deceased.
A posting on Aylareynolds.com details a meeting that Trista Reynolds had with Maine State Police in January. Police reportedly told Trista that evidence prompted their conclusion that Ayla is no longer alive.
The posting claims police have also withdrawn the $30,000 reward in Ayla's case.
The Morning Sentinel reports that police would not confirm the claim made on the site.
The 21-month-old disappeared from her father's home in Waterville on Dec. 17, 2011. Her father, Justin DiPietro, claims Ayla was abducted, however, police maintain there is no evidence suggest a kidnapping occurred.
