ARLINGTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Boston University professor is facing assault and battery charges following an incident reportedly involving brass knuckles.
Arlington Police tell FOX 25 65-year-old Pedro C. Lasarte, who the Arlington Patch identifies as a Romance Studies professor at B.U., is facing two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of carrying a dangerous weapon.
Police say a woman claims Lasarte scratched her with a key on her arm inside his Moulton Road home. Lasarte then reportedly threatened to use brass knuckles on the woman, before "thumping" her in the ribs with the weapon.
