BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Boston man was arrested early Monday morning after he reportedly stabbed a man who was walking along Lincoln Street.

Officers were on patrol in the area of Beach Street and Surface Road around 1:47 a.m. when they were approached by a man in his late twenties. He appeared to be suffering from life-threatening stab wounds and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. The victim is expected to survive.

The victim told police that a group of people approached, confronted, and stabbed him. The suspects then got into two separate cars and drove away.

Officers located a car matching the victim's description, stopped the car, and frisked its four occupants. A knife with what appeared to be a blood-like substance on the blade was found on 24-year-old Angel Ruiz.
