WILDWOOD, N.J. -

The New Jersey Department of Tourism plans to launch a spring campaign to remind the region that the shore is open for business.

Many towns promise to have their devastated boardwalks restored in time for summer.

Realtor Christine Henderson says that while there are many people who are skeptical as to whether the shore will be ready for visitors, she believes the shore will be much busier much earlier in the season.

Realtors say rentals along North Jersey shore towns are already filling up.
