QUINCY, Mass. (AP) — Quincy police are looking for the gunman who shot two young men as they sat in the rear of a taxi.
Police say the shooting occurred just before 4 a.m. Thursday just as the cab pulled to the curb and the passengers were about to pay.
A 22 year-old man was shot in the elbow, treated at the hospital and released. A 19-year-old man shot in the stomach remains in the hospital with more serious injuries.
No names were released.
The cab driver drove the men to the hospital. His cab also sustained damage to the door and rear passenger window.
Police say it does not appear to be a random attack.
