Pasta Alfredo Sauce with White Wine and Morel Mushrooms

Get this recipe courtesy of Theresa Maybrier, a guest at the Outdoorama sport show happening Feb. 21-24 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
Ingredients: ½ pound of morel mushrooms ½ stick of butter, Garlic seasoning ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese 10 oz. package of pasta 16 oz. jar of prepared Alfredo sauce (Ragu or other brand) ½ cup white wine such as Gewürztraminer
Preparation: Prepare the pasta according to label directions Slice the morels into ringlets (1/8 to ¼ inch thick) Melt the butter in a deep sauté pan Spread mushrooms in the pan Add garlic seasoning (to taste) Sauté (turning often) until they make a popping sound Add white wine and stir Add Alfredo sauce while continuing to stir Serve with sprinkled cheese atop
Tasting notes: Pairs well with a fruit plate and Peach-scented white wine such as Gewürztraminer
