Flyers forward Scott Hartnell could be returning to the team for good in the next several days.
On Thursday, the forward hit the ice and skated for the first time since suffering a broken foot on January 22nd.
Hartnell says he expects to return to the team in 7-10 days.
On Wednesday, the Flyers managed to beat the Penguins, 6-5, in Pittsburgh. The team returned to Philadelphia Thursday for a game against the Panthers, marking the start of a home stretch to finish out the month.
Thursday weather looks damp and stormy. It will be mild and muggy to start with spotty showers early followed by afternoon and evening storms. Highs in the upper 70s with winds out of the SW 5-10 mph. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.
This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
