Plow driver 'Dogg' apologizes for video, says he needs a muzzle

LOWELL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The plow driver, who came under fire after posting a video of himself laughing while burying Lowell residents' cars beneath snow, has issued an apology via YouTube.

Mark Hussey, who friends call "Dogg," posted the initial video to YouTube after the Feb. 10 blizzard. Many found the video offensive and thoughtless, and as a result, Hussey lost his job working for RSG Contracting, a private contractor employed by the city.

Hussey took to YouTube to offer up his version of an apology to the City of Lowell and the residents he offended. He says he wishes he never posted the video.

"Dogg, the snow monster, sadistic plow driver. Just makin' a little video to apologize to the people, City of Lowell," Hussey starts out. "Was my boss' decision a good decision to fire me? Yes…Am I an idiot? Yes. I'll be the first one to admit that. Should I have been taking the video? No."

After the 47-year-old Billerica resident wrapped up his apology, he defended his job performance saying he did his job perfectly during the storm. Hussey's former employer backed up his statement and said "Dogg" had always been a good employee.

Hussey told FOX 25 that he has been contacted by three reality television shows about potentially appearing on a them.
