Two arrested after bed sheet causes fire in Wareham

Posted: Updated:

WAREHAM (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two people were arrested on Wednesday morning after an argument in Wareham reportedly led to arson.

Wareham police were called to the scene of a fire at a third floor apartment building on Main Street at about 12:30 a.m.

The fire was burning on the ground and on an outside ledge at the building. It caused moderate damage to the building before being extinguished.

Investigators believe the fire began with a bed sheet discarded from a third floor apartment window.

Kally Foneallaz, 45, and Ross Bickford, 47, are both charged with arson of a dwelling house for their alleged role in the fire. Investigators believe the bed sheet came from their apartment during an argument.

Foneallaz and Bickford were scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday.
