Jury selection began Monday in the death-penalty case of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell.
Three years ago, drug agents stumbled upon a gruesome medical clinic in West Philadelphia, where Dr. Gosnell was performing abortions.
Gosnell is charged with eight counts of murder, including killing a pregnant refugee and seven viable newborns.
The 72-year-old has pleaded not guilty. He has said he treated vulnerable women and teens for four decades.
It's unclear whether Gosnell is considering a plea.
