Fashion show to raise money for 'Wigs 4 Kids' program

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (WJBK) -
A local salon and wellness center is hosting a fashion show to help raise money for the Wigs 4 Kids program.
The program is designed to help young cancer patients who struggle to deal with social acceptance because of physical appearance. By providing custom-fitted, age-appropriate wigs which are individually cut and styled, Wigs 4 Kids helps patients feel better about their appearance and look more like their peers.
Celebrity stylist Terrence Davidson, known for his work with Nicki Minaj and Patti LaBelle, is donating 10 wigs to kids and will take part in a fashion show on Wednesday, March 6 at Barrister Gardens (24225 Harper Ave.) in St. Clair Shores from 6-9 p.m.
Tickets are $30 with VIP tickets available for $40.
