Henry Kissinger discharged from hospital in New York

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger who suffered a fall at his home and was brought to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for observation on Tuesday, was released later the same day, according to the Associated Press.

The hospital confirmed Kissinger's release on Wednesday. 

Kissinger, 89, served as national security adviser and secretary of state under President Richard Nixon and President Gerald Ford.
