BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) — The historic Hampshire House, only a few blocks
from the Boston Marathon finish line, is where the first keg of the special
Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew will be tapped on Wednesday.
Jim Koch,
Samuel Adams founder and brewer, will be joined by four-time Boston Marathon
winner, Bill Rodgers and the Boston Athletic Association officials in tapping
the first keg as it is delivered from the Boston Brewery.
The Boston Beer Company announced its
first-ever partnership with the Boston Athletic Association in 2012 with the
release of this special brew created exclusively for the Marathon.
The brew
will be available once again this year for runners and spectators alike. It
will be available on draft at race-related events, pubs and restaurants along
the Marathon route and around Boston.
