Metro is operating a regular weekday schedule on Metrorail, but some commuter bus routes are being cancelled due to the winter storm.
Metro says major bus routes in the District of Columbia will begin with normal service on Wednesday. But the transit agency says all bus service will likely be reduced or possibly suspended if conditions deteriorate. Spokesman Dan Stessel says trains are operating on a normal schedule, but that ridership levels are far lower than normal.
MetroAccess para-transit service is cancelled for Wednesday.
On MARC trains in Maryland, the Penn and Camden lines are operating on an abbreviated "S" schedule. And Brunswick Line service has been cancelled for Wednesday.
In Virginia, all VRE commuter train service has been cancelled for Wednesday.
Amtrak also says it's operating a regular schedule.
