Canada geese problem: euthanize or give birth control?

The overflowing geese population is a source of concern in several Westchester neighborhoods.

The Village of Mamaroneck has contracted with the USDA to euthanize Canada geese and then donate the meat to food groups.

But an animal rights group based in California says that plan is unethical and is urging the village to go a different route: birth control.
