A Philadelphia abortion doctor goes on trial Monday for murder in the deaths of a patient and seven babies who were allegedly born alive.
Kermit Gosnell, 72, is charged with seven counts of first-degree murder during late-term abortions.
Three years ago, drug agents stumbled upon the gruesome medical clinic in West Philadelphia.
Gosnell has said he treated vulnerable women and teens for four decades. He has pleaded not guilty.
Gosnell faces a possible death penalty if the jury finds him guilty.
