School bus in crash on Grand Central Parkway

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A collision between a yellow school bus and a livery car on the Grand Central Parkway caused significant delays during the Monday morning rush.

The bus and livery car collided on the westbound lanes near 31st Street in Astoria, Queens at about 6:15 a.m.

Delays were extensive for several hours.

The bus and the livery car were moved from the scene at about 10 a.m.

There were no children aboard the bus at the time of the crash.

At least one person suffered non- life threatening injuries, reported the Associated Press.

It is not clear what lead to the crash.
