FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A tractor trailer crash involving a car shut down a portion of the westbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham on Tuesday afternoon.

Massachusetts State Police responded to the accident, which occurred at mile marker 115 in Framingham, around 3 p.m.

Authorities say a tractor trailer jackknifed around a car.

State police say there is one reported injury.

Following the crash, the westbound side of the highway was closed; however, all lanes were reopened around 4:20 p.m.

Gov. Deval Patrick waived tolls for a period of time to allow for a traffic detour, but the tolls were reinstated at 5 p.m. for the evening commute.

The crash is under investigation.
