WEYMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Weymouth man with a lengthy to do list was arrested on March 22 on numerous charges, including breaking and entering, larceny of drugs, possession of drugs, carrying a dangerous weapon, and attempting to commit a crime.
Police responded to the area of Blackstone Road and Sagamore Road around 5 p.m. Friday after receiving calls that a male suspect was going door to door and knocking. The callers also reportedly saw the suspect break into someone's garage on Wessagusett Road.
Two of the callers reportedly confronted the suspect and he told them he was conducting a survey about opening a marijuana dispensary.
When officers arrived, they found 25-year-old Evan Dorsey knocking on a side door of a residence on Manomet Road.
Police said Dorsey reportedly opened a box that had been delivered by UPS and stole its contents, diabetic supplies including insulin. Detectives stopped Dorsey as he attempted to pry open a door.
Police seized burglarious tools, the diabetic supplies and a blackjack from the suspect. He also had two dozen pieces of assorted jewelry, but had no explanation as to where the jewelry came from.
Dorsey was also reportedly carrying a notebook which contained a list of his "goals for Friday 3/24/13." The list included finding crystal meth, getting gold watch, doing a B&E today or robbing a dealer, selling drugs, getting coke, and doing on altruistic act for a stranger.
Dorsey was held on $5,000 bail over the weekend and was scheduled to be arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday.
The investigation is ongoing as Dorsey is expected in several other crimes in the area.
