Meet New Jersey's Powerball Jackpot Winner

Posted: Updated:
PASSAIC, N.J. -

A New Jersey man is now a multi-millionaire after winning the fourth largest lottery payout in Powerball history!

Pedro Quezada, 44, came forward Monday as the lucky winner of the $338-million jackpot.

He showed up at the Eagle Liquors store in Passaic where people have been lining up, hoping to have the same luck.

The store manager ran the ticket through the machine to validate it, and it was indeed the winning ticket.

The payout is about $152 million after taxes.

Quezada quickly left the store. We went to the deli he owns just a few blocks away, where his son said he's very happy.

Outside of his Passaic apartment building, excited neighbors gathered around. Neighbors say he has a wife and kids and his first priority is to help his family.

And if you're wondering what he plans to do with that all that money, Quezada told reporters in Spanish that his first priority will be helping his family.

The store manager said Quezada was a regular customer, always stopping here to buy his lottery tickets. And he says it's a lucky store, that there have been other big winners here, not just this big.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
