HARTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -
A 14-year-old has been charged in a brutal classroom beating that was recorded at Hartland High School and posted online.
According to reports the teenager was charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault in the March 12th attack. Earlier FOX 2 reported the fight happened in a classroom where a teacher was present, just before dismissal. Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte says the girls were arguing about a personal issue. The video of the fight shows a female grabbing the back of the victim's hair, throwing her to the ground and punching her before an adult steps in.

One of those involved was Katya Adamkiewicz who suffered a broken nose in the altercation. She told FOX 2's Andrea Isom, "I like turned my back, and she like grabbed me by my hair or whatever, threw me to the ground, and I like remember hitting my head and like blacking out," Adamkiewicz explained. "All of a sudden started feeling my nose bleeding."
According to reports, police did not seek charges against the male student who recorded the fight and then posted it online.
