St. Louis pastor proposes toy gun buy-back program to curb violence

Posted: Updated:

A pastor in St. Louis is proposing a toy gun buy-back program to get guns out of homes and curb violence. According to a report on Fox2now.com, the pastor says the buy-back could end "our culture of violence."

"I don't know why people would ever think that it is okay to let kids play with things like that," said Pastor Rodney Francis.

The report says 108 people were shot to death in St. Louis in 2012. The police chief says people need "to do something to keep guns away from criminals."

DO YOU THINK A TOY GUN BUY-BACK WILL HELP CURB VIOLENCE?

You've probably heard of a match-making service that helps people find their soul mates. But you may not know that there's a nonprofit in Atlanta that offers a similar service....for people to find....the perfect pet.

Taking on a big bank, even over something like a minor bank error, can be maddening. You feel like no one is listening. It's like being trapped in a maze you can't get out of, but somebody is noticing how frustrating that can be.
