Posted: Updated:

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Clay Buchholz pitched one-hit ball for four scoreless innings, and the Boston Red Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 6-1 Thursday night in the first of three straight games between the teams to end spring training.

Buchholz walked one and struck out six.

Twins right-hander Kevin Correia went five innings, giving up one run on five hits and a walk with one strikeout for the Twins.

The Red Sox scored their lone run off Correia in the first inning, when Jacoby Ellsbury led off with a double, moved to third on Daniel Nava's groundout and scored on Dustin Pedroia's groundout.

Boston said infielder Stephen Drew will begin the season on the seven-day concussion disabled list.
