ATLANTA -

More than 100,000 visitors will pack Atlanta each day for this weekend's Final Four, and even if you don't have a ticket, you still need to know how to get around.

On top of the NCAA Tournament's final round of games, downtown Atlanta will host The Big Dance, a free three-day concert series in Centennial Olympic Park featuring big names like the Dave Matthews Band, Sting and the Zac Brown Band.  Over that three-day span, organizers say more they're expecting upwards of 150,000 people to attend.

To help ease the congestion, out-of-town visitors are urged to use their hotel shuttles, and those coming from around metro Atlanta are encouraged to take MARTA to all the events.  Parking in downtown Atlanta isn't easy on a normal day, and MARTA will save you time, trouble, and cash.

Atlanta police say they'll be out in full force all weekend long, with officers on 12-hour shifts all over the city.

If you do plan to brave the traffic, here are of APD's suggestions to get you to the events:

  • From I-75, take Northside Drive to the Georgia Dome
  • From the Downtown Connector, take Williams Street or MLK, but they'll still jam up
  • From the south, International Boulevard, Fulton Street or Central Avenue are good options
  • If you're coming east or westbound, use Windsor Street
