Boston man arrested for exposing himself on MBTA train

Posted: Updated:

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 48-year-old Boston man was arrested after a female MBTA rider accused him of pulling his pants down and fully exposing himself to her as the train pulled into the Massachusetts Avenue MBTA station.

Police said the incident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. on March 8.

The female told police while traveling on an inbound Orange Line train, the suspect, later identified as John McDonald, exposed himself and turned towards the victim for approximately one minute before exiting the train.

Police conducted an investigation and arrested McDonald at the Ruggles MBTA station on April 3 after an officer recognized him from a wanted poster.

McDonald was scheduled to be arraigned on one charge of open and gross conduct Thursday.
