Nnamdi Asomugha: Let Me Start Something and Have An Education Focus

Posted: Updated:

Nnamdi Asomugha is known for his moves on the field during the NFL season but it's what he's doing in the off season that's so impressive. The San Francisco 49er cornerback talked to Steve and Maria about his program, The Asomugha College Tours for Scholars.

Nnamdi talked about how every year, The Asomugha Foundation gives kids from all over the country the opportunity to tour colleges and experience it before applying. And what's cooler than going to campus with the all-pro cornerback? He even brought some of the kids to the show and let them talk about what it's like checking out schools. Nnamdi also reacted to Steve asking him about being let go by the Philadelphia Eagles and his new team, the San Francisco 49ers.

Here he is showing kids around and giving them a taste of what college has to offer. Tickets are available for the Asomugha Foundation's 7th Annual Service Matters Fundraising Gala. It's Saturday, April 13th at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel.
