(MyFoxBoston.com) -- So you know those coffee shops that have nice, comfy-looking chairs? Kind of makes you want to sit down and write a novel that NPR would approve of.

But at one chair at a coffee shop in San Luis Obispo, Calif., you better write quick, before the chair comes to life.

A video, posted on YouTube by ucmagic, shows unsuspecting coffee shop patrons sit down for a second before being startled when a man pops out of the cushions.

The man is actually Magician Rich Ferguson. Ferguson is big in to posting prank videos (as well as magic tricks) on YouTube. He's also been featured on TV networks' morning shows.
