Man accused of assaulting woman following sexual abuse conference

NORTHBORO, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A man has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met at a conference about the treatment of sexual abusers.

According to the Telegram and Gazette, Tyler Buttle, of Ontario, Canada, was arrested early Friday morning.

The accuser told police that Buttle assaulted her in a parking lot at 490 Main Street. The woman said Buttle assaulted her again after she was able to escape. She was eventually able to free herself and hide from Buttle before knocking on the door of a nearby home and asking for help.

Buttle was to be arraigned Friday on one count of assault with intent to rape and two counts of indecent assault and battery.
