Steve Ott Licks Jeff Halpern

Posted: Updated:

You're about to see Steve Ott from the Buffalo Sabres in a face-off with the Montreal Canadiens Jeff Halpern.  They are old teammates, but is there new spark in their relationship?  What's wrong with going back to talkin' trash?  Ott likes to use different tactics to get other players off their game while playing hockey, but this one particular tactic was caught on camera.  In the video above from SBNATION.COM, you see Steve sticks his tongue out in front of Montreal's Jeff Halper and licks him.

If Ott was trying to psych out Halpern, it didn't work.  Halpern won the face-off, and the Canadiens ended up winning the game 4-0.
