BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Fire crews battled a 3-alarm blaze at two vacant buildings on Norfolk Avenue in Roxbury Saturday.

Fire officials say the fire broke out just after 6:45 a.m.

Crews continued to put water on the buildings throughout the day. There were no injuries reported.

The multi-story buildings involved in the fire were scheduled to be demolished prior to the fire breaking out.

According to fire officials, the buildings have been the site of multi-alarm fires in the past. There is no word on what caused this most recent fire.
