Wednesday was a beautiful day across New England, once the clouds cleared the coast this morning. Temperatures soared into the 60s, which is above normal for this time of year. However, that was not even close to the 84 degree reading last year on this date.
As high pressure continues to move into the area, it will be mostly clear Wednesday night. It will be cooler than last night with lows in the 30s and 40s. Sunshine will start the day on Thursday, but an approaching warm front will near the area and the clouds will increase as the day goes on. Temperatures will be cooler as well, 60s inland, 50s along the coast thanks to an onshore breeze.
The next significant rain will come Friday night into Saturday with the threat of some thunderstorms along a cold front, as well.
