ROCHESTER, Mich. (WJBK) -

Three men armed and dangerous were caught on Pamela Krampf's surveillance cameras robbing nearly a half million dollars worth of merchandise from Antiques and Fine Jewelry by Pamela in Rochester.  It was November 2, 2012.  Concealing their identities, they walked into the store, two in the front and one in the back.  Two men bound the clerk's hands and legs and held a gun to her while another man with a hammer pried open the display case and grabbed all the fine jewelry he could.  After they took off, she finally broke free and called for help.

"Our video and their video, we were able to put it together," Krampf said.

The same guys happened to buy lunch at a nearby Chicken Shack right before the robbery, and besides the fact they were caught on camera there, too, one of them used their credit card.

Rochester Police announced their arrest just last month.  32-year-old Johnny Hall, 22-year-old Kevin Papuga and a third man, who investigators would not reveal because he decided to cooperate, but that came out in court Thursday.

It turns out he is 44-year-old Andrew Blasco, a well known soccer coach with the state's premiere travel soccer league, Vardar, based in Pontiac.  The Oakland County's Prosecutor's Office granted him full immunity for his testimony, although he admitted he was the brains behind the operation.

"I don't have a public comment that would be fit for public consumption at this time about that," Krampf said.

"To give him such immunity for his role in such a serious offense is absurd," said Jeff Clothier, Papuga's attorney.

Clothier also said his client was Blasco's assistant on the soccer teams.

"This guy walked in and out of the courtroom like he owned the place and fully admitted in court today that he went in there, that he was armed with a hammer, that he stole over $300,000, and he's a soccer coach in the community," Clothier explained.  "The Oakland County Prosecutor's Office decided this is the guy we want to cut the deal with."

Blasco, the man wielding a hammer, has been coaching and traveling with teams of nine, ten and eleven-year-old girls for the past five years, and although police and prosecutors had been working with him for months, a representative from Vardar told me they had no idea about Blasco's involvement.  In fact, he said Blasco still coached and traveled with the teams until he came clean, confessed and resigned just last month.

Although Krampf is far from happy that Blasco would be able to walk away from such a heinous crime, she does hope for one thing.

"Something good can come out of something bad that happened and that we do take a look at this and our parents are questioning who is teaching our children," she said.

We learned that Blasco also has a pending drug charge out of Macomb County.

I called the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office to try and find out why they decided on full immunity.  I did not hear back.
