AG: Travel Company Couple Stole Thousands From Customers

TRENTON, N.J. -

A couple from Burlington County have been indicted on charges that they stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from their customers.

Those unknowing customers had booked travel through a few different travel operations owned and operated by Daryl Turner, 41 and wife Robyn Bernstein Turner, 43, according to New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa.

Between January of 2007 and July of 2011, the couple allegedly used two schemes to steal money, prosecutors said. Prosecutors said they ran false promotions and sold vacation packages that were just too good to be true.

The Turners are accused of using the stolen money to furnish a lavish lifestyle, which included several luxury automobiles and a large house in Marlton on County Lakes Drive.

They'll appear in court form their arraignment on a later date.
