A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after police say he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street to his school bus Tuesday in Gloucester Township.
The boy was hit just before 7:30 a.m. while crossing Good Intent Road at Marshall Avenue diagonally.
According to police, the vehicle that struck the boy stopped at the scene. Investigators say they don't believe speed was a factor in the crash.
Police say the boy was taken to Underwood Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
We're getting rain well ahead of our cold front. Expect to need that umbrella on and off all day and tonight, too. A bit messy, unfortunately, for First Friday activities.
With the blast of cold air that follows, we'll probably have a dry day on Saturday, and the chance of a Sunday wintry mix into the afternoon and evening. A light coating could occur for some before a changeover to rain. Stay tuned!
