Parents of UNH student allegedly murdered last year call man accused of the crime liar

DOVER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The parents of a University of New Hampshire student allegedly murdered last year say the man accused of the crime is a liar.
    
The Union Leader says Bob and Melissa Marriott released a statement through their attorney. They say the theory that their daughter was accidentally killed during a consensual sex act defies reality.
    
Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott was allegedly choked or suffocated by 30-year-old Seth Mazzaglia, then dumped her body in a river. Her body has never been found.
    
Mazzaglia, has been indicted on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder.
    
The different charges are for the prosecutions different accounts of how she may have been murdered.
    
Mazzaglia's girlfriend, Kathryn McDonough, is also facing charges related to her death.
